Estimates & maintenance

Yes. We offer free estimates for new equipment installation and free second opinions on condemned equipment. Call to discuss your situation.

A red tag or condemnation notice indicates that a safety concern has been identified with the equipment. Follow the instructions on the notice and do not restart equipment that has been shut down for safety.

Ward Heating & Air offers free second opinions on condemned equipment within our service coverage. We can assess the reported concern and explain your options. A second opinion does not guarantee that the equipment can safely return to service.

Our maintenance plan is being developed. Current maintenance service includes operation verification, a safety check, mechanical and electrical checks, and a multi-point inspection.

Residential equipment we service

We service most residential heating and cooling equipment, including systems powered by natural gas, propane, and electricity. The brands we service are not limited to the brands we offer for new installations. Call with your equipment brand and model to confirm service availability.

We do not service oil-fired equipment or steam heating systems. We do not install customer-provided parts or equipment.

Service calls and emergency dispatch fees

The service and diagnostic charge covers dispatching a technician to your home, diagnosing the issue, and explaining your options. Repairs and parts are quoted separately. All proposed work and charges require your approval before proceeding.

Emergency dispatch fees apply to weekend, holiday, and after-hours visits. Payment of the emergency dispatch fee may be requested before dispatch. An emergency visit does not guarantee that every issue can be resolved during that visit. Parts availability or additional work may require a return visit. Repairs, parts, maintenance, and any additional charge to open a supply house outside its normal hours are separate and require your approval before proceeding.

Free estimates apply to new equipment installation. We also offer free second opinions on condemned equipment.

Installation warranties and equipment registration

Manufacturer parts warranty

Manufacturer parts warranties vary by equipment and may require registration for full available coverage. Equipment registration is the customer’s responsibility. Unless otherwise stated, Ward Heating & Air LLC submits registration as a courtesy.

Customers remain responsible for confirming that registration was completed accurately and within the manufacturer’s deadline and for resolving registration issues. Contact us promptly if confirmation is missing or incorrect. Registrations are submitted in the original purchasing customer’s name. Coverage and transferability depend on the manufacturer’s terms.

Installation labor warranty

Ward Heating & Air LLC provides a one-year labor warranty on installations.

Optional extended labor coverage

Extended labor coverage of up to 10 years may be available at an additional cost through participating manufacturers or JB Warranties, depending on the equipment, selected coverage, and availability. Applicable terms are explained before purchase.

Clean & Check pricing

Regular price: $119 per system.
Offer covers one operating furnace or one operating air-conditioning system within a 30-minute drive of our New Castle location. Service-area eligibility confirmed when scheduling. Boilers and third-party home warranty customers are excluded. Repairs, additional cleaning, and diagnostic service calls are not included.
If equipment is inoperable upon arrival, the visit transitions to a diagnostic service call. The diagnostic fee applies instead of the $89 Clean & Check charge. Repairs and maintenance are quoted separately and require approval.
